Stainless steel hex socket set screw (G 1/8″ BSP, 10 mm) – the same set screw that comes standard in Linebar couplings. Ideal as spare or replacement when one gets lost. Specifically suitable for Linebar T-, L- and cord couplings – not to be replaced by a metric M10 bolt.
This stainless steel hex socket set screw 1/8″ (76A) is the original screw found in the Linebar couplings. Useful to keep as a spare, or for when one occasionally disappears on the job site.
Important to note: this is not a metric M10 bolt, but a 1/8″ BSP (G 1/8) gas thread according to ISO 228-1. The thread in the Linebar couplings is also tapped for this standard. If you use a metric fine thread (e.g., M10×1), it may initially seem to ‘catch’, but it will turn stiffly, not fully screw in, and can damage the coupling’s thread.
With this original set screw you are assured of:
the correct fit
smooth operation with hex key
a secure, play-free locking of your Linebar profiles on the stakes
Perfect for those who work professionally with Linebar and don’t want to lose time due to missing or poorly fitting screws.

How do you get started?

Place the Linebars in the desired direction on the ground and drive stakes through the coupling into the ground.

Adjust the horizontal bar with the couplings to the correct height using a laser or spirit level.

Attach the cord to the horizontal coupling and adjust to a square position

Do the same for all Linebars and adjust all lines until they are square to each other.
Linebar is used daily on real construction sites by people who need to work efficiently and accurately. From landscaping to structural work and earthworks, here's what professionals and DIY enthusiasts themselves say about working with Linebar.
