Set Screw

Stainless steel hex socket set screw (G 1/8″ BSP, 10 mm) – the same set screw that comes standard in Linebar couplings. Ideal as spare or replacement when one gets lost. Specifically suitable for Linebar T-, L- and cord couplings – not to be replaced by a metric M10 bolt.

This stainless steel hex socket set screw 1/8″ (76A) is the original screw found in the Linebar couplings. Useful to keep as a spare, or for when one occasionally disappears on the job site.

Important to note: this is not a metric M10 bolt, but a 1/8″ BSP (G 1/8) gas thread according to ISO 228-1. The thread in the Linebar couplings is also tapped for this standard. If you use a metric fine thread (e.g., M10×1), it may initially seem to ‘catch’, but it will turn stiffly, not fully screw in, and can damage the coupling’s thread.

With this original set screw you are assured of:

  • the correct fit

  • smooth operation with hex key

  • a secure, play-free locking of your Linebar profiles on the stakes

Perfect for those who work professionally with Linebar and don’t want to lose time due to missing or poorly fitting screws.

How do you get started?

Linebar in 4 steps...

  • Stap 1

    Lay on the ground

Place the Linebars in the desired direction on the ground and drive stakes through the coupling into the ground.

  • Stap 2

    Adjust the height

Adjust the horizontal bar with the couplings to the correct height using a laser or spirit level.

  • Stap 3

    Set the rope

Attach the cord to the horizontal coupling and adjust to a square position

  • Stap 4

    Repeat & correct

Do the same for all Linebars and adjust all lines until they are square to each other.

Linebar is used daily on real construction sites by people who need to work efficiently and accurately. From landscaping to structural work and earthworks, here's what professionals and DIY enthusiasts themselves say about working with Linebar.

“We often lay out terraces, garden walls and outbuildings. With Linebar, we are ready much faster and can easily adjust everything without starting over. This is a huge time saver, especially on smaller sites.”

Tom Vermeulen
Landscaping & outdoor design

“We use Linebar on sites for setting out foundations. The system remains very stable. Our workers quickly asked to purchase several more and no longer use wooden stakes or construction jigs anywhere.”

Geert Van den Broeck
Site Manager

“Before I start digging, I want to know exactly where everything is. I used to work with rebar, but I had to double-check or move it each time. With Linebar, I work much more precisely and everything remains tight.”

Kevin Maes
Independent earthworker

“We mainly use Linebar for timber frame and outbuildings. The corner couplings are great: quickly square and everything can be adjusted so quickly and easily. A very well thought-out system.”

Bart Penders
Joinery & timber frame construction

“Flexibility is important for renovations and expansions. Linebar allows you to quickly move or adjust lines without having to rebuild everything. That just works much faster!”

Sven De Smet
Small building contractor & renovation

“I completely set out my outbuilding myself with Linebar. This really helped me to square it very quickly. It’s also so nice that you can adjust it so simply compared to wooden planks and hammering nails.”

Jeroen Willems
Private individual

“We now save a lot of working hours and hassle on every site thanks to Linebar. No more wood waste and much easier to teach to new employees.”
